You can expect Black Own Food Trucks • Affirmation station • Freestyle Friday Battle • Black Owned Businesses • Guest performances • Self-Awareness Resources • and fun for the whole family!
Black SEL is SEL that is infused with a cultural lens that speaks to the lived experiences and needs of Black communities. The Black SEL Summit is a two-day event that brings together educators and SEL practitioners from around the country. At the Self-Awareness Block Party, we share best practices, innovative approaches, and culturally responsive resources to sustain SEL as a tool in Black communities.
